On-demand void fill systems
Air pillow machines and paper void fill systems make protective packaging right at the packing station, so you store rolls instead of bulky bags. Through August Automation we supply, install and support these systems along with the materials that run on them, including products from Intertape (IPG) and its Polyair line.

Should I use air pillows or paper void fill?
Air pillows are very light and inexpensive, which keeps freight costs down. Paper void fill is curbside recyclable and handles heavier items better. Many shippers use both for different products.
When does a custom insert make sense?
When you ship the same product often, or it's fragile or high-value. A custom insert protects consistently, speeds up packing and looks better to your customer.
Do you supply void fill machines?
Yes. Through August Automation we supply air cushion and paper void fill systems, along with the materials for them.
Do you have recyclable protective packaging?
Yes. Paper void fill, paper wrap, honeycomb paper and corrugated inserts are curbside recyclable, and we offer recycled-content bubble and air cushioning too.
